Cyprus:-Cyprus is the third largest Island in the Mediterranean, it is an island of beauty and a country of contrasts. Cool, pine-clad mountains are a complete scene-change after golden sun-kissed beaches. Tranquil, timeless villages are in striking contrast to modern cosmopolitan towns. Luxurious beachside hotels can be exchanged for large areas of natural unspoilt countryside. Yet in Cyprus all distances are easily manageable, mostly on modern roads and highways - with a secondary route or two for the more adventurous. The summers are long and hot, fruit trees buckle under the weight of their bounty as do the vines, the grapes of which go into producing some fine local wines. The Island has long been of great strategic importance and boasts the legacy of many of its occupying empires, fortifications built by the Crusaders still stand. A villa holiday here is idyllic, there is lots to see and plenty to do, the welcome is warm and the weather likewise.
Lasa and Phiti Village's:-Set deep in the Paphos hills, Phiti and Lasa villages beckon the determined traveller from the Paphos tourist belt. Away from the souvenir shops, ice cream and hamburgers, this region was really discovered by a handful of travellers, passing to or from Chrysorroyiatissa Monastery. The warmth and rich hospitality you will find here are as sincere and old as Cyprus itself. This is a corner of Cyprus as yet untouched by mass commercial development; a timeless paradise where the daily chores needing attention eventually become urgent enough to get done; for the visitor it is not easy to determine when, how, or by whom. There is little routine to speak of, no obvious order. At the same time, there is no sense of disorder, just a warm feeling that if one had to, spend the rest of ones life here, it would not be difficult.
Free car included: Please note that a group C car is included Free. This does not include compulsory CDW insurance charged at £10.50GBP per day.
